Amino Matchers has no login, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Nutrition calculations run on your device. We do not send your ingredients, exclusions, age, weight, goals or food diary to a nutrition service.

What this browser remembers

Preferences are saved in localStorage in this browser. Recipe and daily-log saving is explicit unless you enable “Remember my meals.” Saving is local, not an online backup. Another browser, private window, cleared storage or another device may have a different setup.

A browser cannot identify who is at the keyboard. Enable “Shared computer” to show a choice before saved personal data is loaded. Guest starts with neutral preferences and uses this tab's temporary session storage. Anyone using the unlocked browser can still choose the saved setup. These controls prevent accidental mixing; they are not a password or security boundary.

Exports and sharing

A backup file can include preferences, body weight, recipes and daily records. Keep it private unless you intend to share those details. Import validates the format and previews its scope. Exporting is the best way to keep a portable copy before clearing data or changing browsers.

A meal share link contains the chosen foods, grams, serving count, meal name and data versions in its URL fragment. It excludes your body weight, goals, age, exclusions and diary. The receiving person can read the shared meal. A share image includes the meal facts you preview. Social platforms handle any link or image you choose to post under their own policies.

Cloudflare serves the site's public files and may process ordinary request data, such as IP address and browser headers, to deliver and protect the site. Food selection does not trigger ingredient-specific nutrition requests. The application downloads a fixed public catalog.

Citation and social links take you to external sites only when you follow them. Source papers are not silently loaded into the page. Search engines can crawl our public research, methods and food pages; they cannot crawl your locally saved diary through this site.

Offline downloads and clearing data

The PWA keeps public pages, food data, fonts and images in Cache Storage for offline use. Public offline files are separate from saved preferences and meals. Clearing public downloads does not erase your diary; clearing saved settings or meals does not necessarily remove the offline application.

Use the settings controls to export or selectively clear saved records. Finishing Guest clears the session data used by this app. Browser and operating-system uninstall behavior varies, so export anything you want to retain before uninstalling or clearing site data.
